The Lord's Prayer

I had to stop for a moment to reflect on Matthew 6:9-13, The Lord's Prayer. There is something about this passage that resonates with so many people, whether prayed in its literal form or used as a model for prayer as laid out by Jesus Himself.

The Lord's Prayer

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil."
(Matthew 6:9-13 ESV)
